Question: I made $50k this year and wanted to know my potential tax refund?
I live in California, paid about $8800 in Federal Tax, $315 every pay check and $79 state tax (bi-monthly). I have 0 exemptions and 0 dependants. I also paid about $3000 in interest for school loans…I also, invested about $3000 in my 401K.
Answer: Go to the store and get turbo tax. There is a lot more to consider than the info you gave us. You could also go to a tax professional and get your return done. Then you would have the exact amount, and not an estimate.
