Question: basic knowedge about VAT, sevice Tax & TDS in india & its rate charts for the A.y. 2010-11?

Sir, actually i am a fresher accountant and just i want to know about vat & rates (every state), S. TAX with returns & TDS rate & returns. kindly provide your valuable solution or anyweb side, where i can find the same.

Answer: Now all the states are giving these details through their official website. You have not mentioned from which state are you from.

In Tamilnadu you can get this detail from www.tnvat.gov.in

You can google for your state’s website.
