Question: Which do you want to pay more: The soda tax on consumers or the energy tax that will be passed on to consumers?
“Soda tax wont likely be passed onto consumers, if you ever take economics(LOL) you will learn that how much tax gets passed onto consumers has to do with the elasticity of the demand of a product. There are too many alternatives to soda that its hard to jack the price too much”
I’ve actually got 9 hours in economics, but a lot more than that in psych, and this is social control.
Answer: Makes no difference. we are going to have to pay both anyway.
