Tax Cut

Question: Do international donations get a tax cut?
If an American corporation makes a donation to a foreign school, does the company get a tax cut even if the donation was made to a foreign country?
Answer: Ignore post above. Corporations can make charitable contributions. They go on line 19 of Form 1120. The amount is more limited that for individuals. Contributions for the benefit of foreign causes must, with a few exceptions, be made to a bonafide US charity whose mission is the support of the foreign project.
