Ahnode wants to dig a little deeper into our family budgets. The main reason our state’s bankroll is short is due to the American occupation of Iraq. When the soldiers come home, do you think these income tax increases will be halted? We all know they won’t and we’ll still have cruddy roads and 47th rated schools.

Answer: The governator’s problem is with California’s budget shortfall. It has nothing to do with the American occupation of Iraq.
