Question: When will California’s Sales Tax percentage lower?

With Sales Tax in California at about 9%, things are a little rough. When will I see a decrease?

Answer: California is in a lot of financial trouble. I would bet that the city of Los Angeles would be buried under a foot of snow before California lowers the Sales Tax rate.

I personally believe that raising the Sales Tax rate occurs because politicians can’t stop spending money. Think about it. As prices go up due to inflation, Sales Tax collections should go up in line with inflation.
