Question: Has Anyone Received their NY State Tax Refund?

I efiled on January 23, 2009, and I believe it was accepted on the 26th, but everytime I check that refund status I get “Your return is being processed. No further information is available”. I got the same message last year and it took them about 10 MONTHS to get me my refund. Is anyone else having a similar issue? Does anyone have any suggestions? WTF?

Answer: yea, me too. i efiled on 1/24 and when i checked the status online i kept getting “your return is being processed. no further information is availble”. This was last week. No i check online again this week and i’m getti ng something like “there is an error, please make sure you have entered the correct informnation” wth? so then this morning i call the 518 number and of course they won’t switch you to a live person. so i press a bunch of diff numbers and finally get someone. i tell her the discrepancies w/ online and the message i’m getting on the phone which is “your return has been received, no futher info is available” what does she do? she switches me back to the phone status prompt to get me off her line. I want and need my money now! I received the fed two weeks ago! I double checked the tax preparer’s papers to make sure all my banking info was correct. it is. All we can do is. I’m not sure about last year’s return because the ahole of my tax preparer was processing my return’s as Refund anticipation loans which i had no idea of for the past few years. so i was always getting my returns on time , but just as loans. off the subject. but all we can do is wait until after april 1 i guess. then call
