My job moved from NYC to Denver, CO. I earn 50,000. How much % will I save in taxes now? How do I calculate this info? How much can i expect to save (in % or $$), due to the move. Like how much less State tax etc will I be charged. I am assuming Denver, CO has a lower State Tax as compared to NYC, NY. Thanks.

Answer: In NYC, you pay both state and city taxes. The combined rate can be as high as 11%. Your savings on 50k annual income should be in the range of 5%.
