Tax Topic 203

Question: anyone receive a message on your federal tax refund information that lists tax topic 203?

i checked the status of my federal Tax Return today and the website states that my Tax Return was mailed on 2-10-09 but there is also a note about tax topic 203 stating that it may apply to my situation. anyone else seen this today? I read online about it and the called the number provided and was told by an automated system that i did not have any Tax Offset so why is the IRS displaying this message?

Answer: It’s just a note. It doesn’t mean it does apply to you.
