Question: What percent does the net salary represent from the gross salary in UK?

If the salary is, lets say 10000 pounds per annum, what will I be left with after paying all the taxes? (I am a living alone, for what is worth)
If my gross salary is, say 50000 pounds per annum, what will I be left with after tax payments?

Answer: It depends on your Tax Code… but if thats the standard one then deducting only tax from 10000 per annum adds up to £8,587.60
