Question: Can I get my NZ tax back whilst I am in the UK?

I grew up in New Zealand, and therefore I still have a bank account there which is generating considerable interest. My question is whether I can claim back the tax that I am paying on this interest.

I am currently residing in the UK. I have been here for over three years and have no plans to return to New Zealand EVER (aside from for a vacation). I am obviously paying tax in the UK on my salary and on any interest which I earn over here.

I’d be grateful for any advice you could give me. I’ve had a brief look at the IRD website and it is very little help, so I can’t be bothered looking into it any further if I’m not going to get anything out of it.
Just to clarify: even though I do not plan to return to NZ, I wish to keep the bank account open as it is generating a very high rate of interest.
